The media scrum in front of the Bondi Surf Bathers’ Life Saving Club this morning had us thinking that Local Member and newly elected Prime Minister of Australia Malcolm Turnbull had decided to visit the beach. But no, it was all about finals footy, and the fact that the local Sydney Roosters have progressed to the next stage. Easts player Kane Evans is holding court in the background, and up close and personal with Remo in the second image. Remo was brave enough to tell him that he was a lifelong Rabbitohs fan.
