Al was on his way to hand over his film The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert to Haydn Keenan, director of BONDIWOOD, when we came across him. The festival of films by locals launches this Thursday evening at the Pavilion.

Two of Al’s films on which he has producer credits top and tail the festival. Tender and joyous Priscilla is the opening film, and outback thriller Red Hill closes the four day event. In between, on Saturday night you can book tickets to see Chopper for which Al was executive producer.

This is a fun event. There are lots of films to choose from. Not only is the film shown but each session has a Q+A with one of the film makers. And there are door prizes!
