Spencer Tunick’s most recent Australian installation took place on Bondi Beach on 26 November 2022. Invited by Skin Check Champions, Tunick gathered 2,500 hardy souls (approximately the number of Australians who die from melanoma every year) on the beach before sun up to be photographed naked as an awareness and fund raising project for this deadly disease.
If you’re thinking of going down to the beach today to strip off you’ve missed your opportunity. It was all over by 7:30am that day.
