Longtime Bondi local, the irrepressible Sue Burrows co-organised a fundraiser for Transiciones Guatemala where her friend, lawyer, writer, Rebecca Peters is the development director.
Rebecca has taken the skills she acquired in Australia in helping to get John Howard’s gun ban laws passed, to Guatemala. Guatemala has some of the worst gun violence in the world leading to devastating gun injuries. Rebecca runs a factory that builds wheelchairs for victims of that violence.
