Footvolley
Denise Pascual is one of the co-founders of the Footvolley Federation of Australia.
“What’s footvolley?” you ask. Loosely, it’s a cross between football (soccer) and beach volleyball.
It’s not an Olympic sport but if Denise has her way that is likely to change.
Footvolley Australia has been invited to send a demonstration team to Rio this year. The qualifying tournament that was held on Bondi Beach last Saturday was helping to raise the funds to get a team over there.
