A Solid Grounds project at the Pavilion

POWER - The Future is Here

Gamillaroi man Dennis Golding was artist in residence at the Alexandria Park Community school in 2020. The capes, depicting iconography informed by the lived experiences and cultural identity of the students, are the result of a collaboration between Golding and those students. This is a Solid Ground project.

In partnership with Carriageworks, Solid Ground provides pathways into the arts and cultural industries for young Indigenous people in Blacktown, Redfern, and Waterloo.

There will be 2 cape making workshops with Dennis Golding for children 4 to 8 at the Pavilion on 16 April at 10am and 1pm. Book HERE.
