Ged Lardi

As we were walking along Genayr Avenue we spotted an open garage door which is one of those things we can’t resist. There is so much going on in those spaces.

And there was Ged. And Ged was surrounded by a fabulous chaos that took your eye here, there and everywhere. His creations are many and varied. He lives elsewhere but this garage has been his art studio for many many years.

We were particularly drawn to a wall of that was covered in photographs of people. Ged told us that they are all people of Bondi and he indicated a small child toward the bottom of the wall and said he’s a doctor now. So Ged has been doing this for a long time.
