We bumped into Harriet and her bump (2 weeks to go!) on Saturday morning at the pool as she was about to dive in.

“I’ve rented in Bondi for a few years now, and I consider it a curse because I never want to leave! We now live on the same street my husband grew up on (Lamrock)! Bit embarrassing but we love it. I work in sustainability, easiest way to describe my work is environmental communications. I’m a big nature head, and love getting in the ocean in whatever capacity I can (even if it’s only now the icebergs kiddy pool while I’m heavily pregnant). I love the community spirit in Bondi, although sometimes I worry that flag isn’t flown as strongly by the younger gen that lives here. I’d love to see more diversity, empathy and acceptance in the eastern suburbs. With our first baby coming soon, I plan to teach them about everything that lives and grows here - to recognise bird song, to learn to revere the ocean and not fear it, and encourage them to be part of the Bondi village!”
