We have been seeing James, mostly at the Icebergs, for many moons. We knew about his roses businesses and we were intrigued by his mentoring, but we wanted to know a bit more.

“Bondi. My living life support. My zen. My coping mechanism. My sunrise.

I have been an Icebergs Gym member for many years. Arguably the finest view of any gym in the world. The post workout swim an absolute treat circa all year round. I never had a proper swimming lesson and had no idea how to breath properly till I met the legendary John Konrads at age 38. A few lessons with this Gold medallist and gentleman were an honour and not to mention amazing. Wish I'd learnt 30 plus years before that!

My day job is delivering love with my Mr Roses business. (See also HERE and HERE).

Having sold Roses Only, ten years ago, I felt drawn back in six years later and set up Mr Roses (my four year old toddler!). We proudly deliver (mainly) the world's finest roses and other flowers throughout Sydney and across the country.

Separately I have some mentoring relationships with aspiring young entrepreneurs or university students. Guiding and sharing experiences is incredibly rewarding. And selfishly I learn from them too”.

Is there something you’d like us to know about you?

“I’m a massive foodie. My favourite pizza is Pepperoni. And my favourite pizza joint is Westwood Pizza in Newtown (Ed: somewhere on the other side of Bronte). Their Salamanca pizza is insane.

Also, I’m passionate about my family. I’m proud of my Greek heritage and I’m fluent in the language.”
