Jesus does Capoeira

Gilson Ribeiro de Jesus came to Australia from Brazil in 1994 to participate in the local South American festival. (Jesus … doesn’t convey his thick and lovely Brazilian accent.) He is a keen advocate of capoeira which he has practised since early childhood and that he thinks of more as an art form than a sport.

Mestre Jesus twice won the Brazilian National Capoeira Championship.
