John Hammond

We have seen John around the Bondi traps for many years. We would regularly see him in the sauna at the Icebergs pool. When we caught up him this morning he was just coming back from the NBSLSC where he also uses their sauna.

John is known by name by everyone in his local neighbourhood and is greeted warmly wherever he goes.

John started life in Blacktown but has lived with his mum for many years in Bondi.

He loves Bondi because “the people are good” but the “water is a bit cool”.

John couldn’t chat for too long as he was on his way to Watson’s Bay Wharf where he works.
