Luca di Napoli

Luca di Napoli
We first spotted Luca at Orazio Pizza + Porchetta when he was head chef there. The next thing we knew he had opened a vibrant little neighbourhood pizzeria around the corner from us on Campbell Parade, opposite the bus terminus.
“So my Bondi is story is I arrived here in October 2013, so exactly 10 years ago! I have always been living in Bondi.
I was flown out from Italy by Maurice Terzini and Orazio d Eliato to do the opening of the Orazio Pizza + Porchetta as head pizza chef. And since then never left .
Four years ago my business partner and I decided to open up Di Napoli in North Bondi as I always been feeling part of the Bondi community ever since arrived.
First hour of the day I grab a coffee from my next door M Deli Cafe and do the costal walk from Fletcher Street to Bronte and admire the unique panorama from Marks Park over Bondi and every time I do that I just feel so lucky to be able to live here . I do love cooking and making food as it’s a tradition in my family since four generations as they all have restaurants in Napoli. Every time I try to cook dishes that are my childhood favourite and give them a bit of Bondi touch.”
You can tell that Luca loves what he is doing.
