Messina Gelato Mural by Jeremyville

Messina Gelato has very quickly established itself as the go to place for tasty ice cream with contemporary attitude in Bondi. (For quality and taste, we also love Pompei’s down on the corner of Gould and Roscoe.) The artist Jeremyville (also a Bondi/Brooklyn Local) designs all of the shop front murals for Messina Gelato, and he typically captures the characters and essence of the neighbourhood with his distinctive streetscape illustrations. The mural at the Messina on Hall Street in Bondi includes a short-haired big-footed Roman toting his handmade wooden alaia surfboard. Today a gracious Roman agreed to pose alongside his former illustrated self.
