You never know who you’re going to bump into at the Bondi Golf and Diggers Club on a Thursday night. Mikey and Laura, who are staying in Bondi for a month while their real home gets renovated, were there to sample curries that Sri Lankan chef Roche puts on every Thursday. [Ed: The curries are so good!]

While we were taking this photo a couple of fans came up to Mikey to get their own selfies with him. You would remember him from (depending how long you go back) the Castanet Club, as radio announcer for Triple J, Triple M and Vega 95.3, and various other TV projects over the years. He has four published books under his belt with another one on the way.

He also has a popular podcast called Heroes and Howlers, looking at historical moments in a very Mikey way, i.e. smart and funny.
