Catherine wanted to make the most of living close to the beach so she signed up to Can Too, a fantastic community based programme that teaches ocean swimming while raising funds for cancer research.
(Bondi is) “like a National Park at our doorstep, so full of life. Ocean swimming allows me to be immersed in its beauty. Making friends and feeling supported through Can Too enabled me to actually do it, especially after having Lenny [Catherine and partner Lucia’s second baby]. Raising money for cancer research is an added bonus, and motivates me to keep going, keep fit and live life!”
Training is bi-weekly at the beach and Prince Alfred pool.
