People of Bondi | Jamie Barkell
It was a very chatty morning in the sauna last Friday. It can be like that some times. Other days it will be completely quiet.
We enjoyed meeting Jamie, here straight out of the sauna, who is a pilot and was born and spent all of his life in Bondi.
He loves the beach, the lifestyle, his friends and the Icebergs.
As an aside, the conversation started with Jamie because he overheard us talking about the Guinness World Record that had been attempted at TEDxSydney “Most People Playing the Spoons.”
In his college days, Jamie had participated in a successful Guinness World Record attempt of his own … the most number of pubs visited in 24 hours for a single pub crawl, and that number was (gulp) 83.
