Brigitte loves the ocean, the diversity and sense of freedom you get at the beach. For Jay, whose family has lived in Bondi “forever”, it’s that for all the changes he has seen since trams were running up Bondi Road, the beach and ocean are unchangeable. He says Bondi is now a city but the beach is just the same as ever, Jay loves getting off the phone and being in beach mode and getting that spiritual connection.
