Julia works at the newly reorganised Wayside Chapel op shop on Warners Avenue on Wednesdays and Saturdays. She loves the North Bondi op shop “for its boho style and laid back vibes. The job is like being a treasure hunter … I get to sift through all the donations and try to find a diamond in the rough. Sometimes we actually find diamonds as well!”

Julia reckons there is almost a complete turnover of stock each week and that’s what the customers like about the place. “It’s not Zara or Witchery: the shop is constantly in flux, something new for them each day.”

When Bondi Fresh Daily visited it was as busy as anywhere else in Bondi. And that’s normal apparently. Get down there!
