Kirsten and her husband Tony have owned the well loved, Trip Advisor award winning Bru Café for the last 3 ½ years.
Kirsten came from New Zealand but travelled extensively from the age of 21 before settling in Australia in 1993 with her English chef boyfriend.
She has been working in the food industry from the age of 14. She met Tony, another foodie, when he was working at the Aqua Bar.
Kirsten has seen a lot of changes over the 20 years that she has lived and worked in the area. She loves that there are more families but reckons it’s a lot more expensive!
