Maeva left her home in Le Mans, France 11 years ago. When asked what brought her here she said enigmatically, “life”!

Maeva opened her crepe restaurant, Crepes Aubras on the corner of Campbell Parade and Ramsgate Avenue 7 months ago. Her lease is only for 1 year but she is hoping (as are all the crepe lovers around the place) that she will be able to extend as she and the business are very happy there.

If you are looking for a very French experience go to Maeva’s for a crepe, We wish her well and hope that she gets to stay as long as she wants.
______________

The Crepes Aubras corner has been the home of many favourite eateries over the years. One of the all time favourites was Hobbits. Café/mixed business by day but as the sun went down the candles came out, curtains were drawn across the drinks fridges and a delicious chicken curry and roti were served. Thanks Sharon and Kelvin. Those were great years!

These days Sharon serves from a food truck. Follow her on Instagram HERE.
