Ralph Heimans
Ralph Heimans
Don’t you love it when someone tells you they’re a portrait painter and you go home to google them and find their website awash with royalty and other extraordinary individuals and that they themselves are crazy well known?
Ralph’s works are hanging in Westminster Abbey, Washington’s National Portrait Gallery, The National Portrait Gallery of Australia, to name only a few. There was a mid-career retrospective in 2018 at the National Portrait Gallery of Denmark at Frederiksborg Castle.
He and his wife, film editor Tami Bokey, have lived on and off in Bondi since 1990, with many years split between London and Paris.
Ralph’s next commission is of Jane Goodall.
