Rainbow Roses at Harris Farm

Rainbow Roses at Harris Farm

These roses were spotted at Harris Farm in the lead up to Mardi Gras by Bondi Observer friend and roving reporter Daryl Hossack.

Not found in nature, rainbow roses are created by splitting the flower’s stem and dipping into different cups of dyed water. The flower’s uptake of this coloured water produces this crazy effect.
