Sarah Trehy

Sarah lives on the Central Coast but loves to come over this way for the Bondi to Coogee walk (and back again). She has been wanting to get into the pool but always stopped at the last minute for all the reasons and fears that we all know about.

Today was the day. Sarah got up at 4 this morning to make the trip here and back before starting work at midday.

We met Sarah as she coming out of the pool after her inaugural swim. And as we know, once you start it’s hard to stop so we will be seeing her again. Well done Sarah!

PS: Sarah happened to choose a particularly cold morning for it. Possibly the coldest it’s been all season. The pool temperature 15.9 degrees was posted on the board but that is usually exaggerated (we’re sure of it!).
