Sad Note

Saturday ended on a very sad note. A lot of effort was put into the rescue of a dolphin that had somehow ended up in the mouth of the stormwater drain at the south end of the beach. Unfortunately, the dolphin didn’t make it but was probably going to die anyway. 

For some reason this took several of us spectators by surprise.
