In celebration of the first anniversary of the reopening of the remediated Bondi Pavilion Community and Cultural Centre there is a screening tonight of the Saving the Pavilion documentary.
This no-budget film by Mark Gould is about the community effort to save this local landmark from the ill-advised 2016 asset stripping and privatising “upgrade” proposal by the former mayor, Sally Betts. If you’re into grassroots activism, this one’s for you.
