When we first got to know Steve he was working at the Bondi Tratt. Many years ago. These days he’s at the newly refurbished Pavilion. We most recently saw him at the Best and Brightest Business Awards last Thursday. Here he is looking fine in the atrium.

“I’ve been at the Pav since it reopened so since September last year. I’m working for Waverley at the Pav as a “Venue Officer”. One person from our team is always on premises. We are the first aiders for the building along with being the Fire Marshall. We move furniture around for hirers and open rooms, provide A/V assistance and are responsible for the safety of the Pav for both patrons and workers.”

We bumped into him on the way out at the end of the evening and he was monitoring the decibels with his iPhone. They were fine, but only just. They have to be sensitive to the restaurants on the ground floor.
