Thursday is not Always the New Friday
Not when there’s a very expensive watch to promote.
Thursday used to be cleaning day so you could only get a swim in if the tides happened to coincide with the time you were there. It meant that Friday was the day when the pool really sparkled. But for the last year or so they haven’t closed the pool for cleaning. That got done in the dead of night and was the responsibility of some poor low in the pecking order lifeguard.
