Vitya/Виктор

We approached Vitya (diminutive of Viktor) while he was sitting outside Café Bondi peacefully enjoying a cup of tea (we can be brazen if there is someone who has caught our interest).

Vitya speaks Russian and not a word of English. We speak English and not a word of Russian. We still managed to have a lovely few moments together.

What we did manage to learn is that he comes from the Ukraine but lives here now with his family in Dover Heights. We think this is all correct. We’d love to learn more.
