Arthur Charles

We came across Arthur Charles as he was taking one of his occasional strolls along the Promenade with his friend David. With head-gear like that we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to stop to find out a bit more about the man under it.

Arthur Charles was once a prominent Sydney banker and businessman. Remo has known him for a long time, but had not seen nor heard of him for decades (literally). And so it turned into a reunion of sorts when they both realised who the other was.

Arthur is now an author of children’s books. He created Poucher & Big Guy for his grandchildren living in America. His own childhood, growing up in country NSW is the well from which he has plumbed the background information and added the colourful characters – Poucher and his friends.
