Landmark Sculpture by Diana Webber

We originally posted this photograph in August last year. 

Last week we posted another photograph of this sculpture and referred to it as ‘Lettuce Man’ (see HERE) which surprised one of our favourite readers, Annie Parnell, as she hadn’t heard that nickname before. This made us realise that it is probably a nickname known only to us.

It is in fact a beautiful landmark sculpture that is situated along the middle of the Promenade. The sculpture is by Diana Webber and celebrates the surf life saving movement in Australia.
