Bondi to Watsons Bay Swim
We went down to the north end of the beach on Sunday to watch the 9:15am group set out on the 10km swim.
It was a glorious day for it but with definitely a nip in the air.
The first group head out and the first thing they have to do is locate their support boat which can be stressful as there are a lot of craft in the water out beyond the point.
Our friends from Swell were there with four of them doing the relay in 3 minute sprints. Katie was the first up and had to get out there and find the boat. Anna Toohey was paddling alongside her. Anna did the first 5km and Roman Giuffré did the last leg. The team finished in 3 hours 47 minutes.
