We bumped into Lisa last Sunday when she was in the middle of Can-Tooing. One of us is a shameless self promotor which is why she is pictured here with the most recent issue of REMORANDOM (the new one is just about ready to go to print). Lisa was happy to oblige.

Last November Lisa was appointed CEO of the Can Too Foundation. Can Too not only raises funds for critical research into the prevention, treatment and cure of cancer but also challenges ‘ordinary’ people to achieve more than they thought possible through their expert-run fitness programmes.

“Our CanTooers were swimming at North Bondi for their personal challenge – either the 1 or 2km swim – many have only just learnt to swim and learn more about the ocean and face their fears.

Can Too help them with our Ocean Swim program.  We had over 300 swimmers this season.  Our East pod swims at Bondi during the Summer every Saturday and we are very grateful for Bondi SLS for their support and their water safety team for keep our swimmers safe.

My Bondi connection is that I grew up in Coogee but when I started my Padi Open water diving – we would always come back to Ben Buckler for a beautiful dive.

It always brings me back.  Love it”.
