Meet Evan who is the Labour member for Wentworth. Not what you’d call a safe Labour seat!
We had a coffee with Evan at the Icebergs on Friday morning and had a chat about this and that.
Evan used to come down to Bondi for beach runs when he was in the footy team at school. More recently he and his wife would bring their newborn down to walk along the Promenade because “what else are you going to do at 5am?”
He seems to have real affection for his constituents which he sees as a cross-section of the broader Australian community.
