People of Bondi | Ken Brandon

We bump into Ken from time to time on the Promenade, although he is usually out there so much earlier than we are (5:30am … eek … something for us to work towards). Anyway, we were lucky enough to have his company for a few minutes last Saturday.

Ken is a teacher at Bronte Public School and has been there for nearly 30 years. A more beloved teacher would be hard to find. We saw him in action over the nine years that our two kids were there. 

He has lived in Bondi for all of his 67 years (yes, that seems impossible). 

Ken loves Bondi for the summer swimming, the people, bumping into old students, “the lifestyle”.

Working with kids makes him happy.
