People of Bondi | Lara Zell

Lara is a massage therapist and also works as a sommelier at the Mistelle wine bar in Double Bay.

Lara has lived at the south end of the beach for 15 years and loves everything about it, particularly that she can swim everyday. 

She loves that it’s a “mixed bag of nuts” and a “big small town.”  We know what she means.

When she goes out she likes to keep it local. Some of her favourites are Bar 34 and Bangkok Bites. For live music she goes to see Declan Kelly (of King Tide fame among others) at Bondi Rumba.

Lara travels a fair it … indeed she was just back from LA when we met her which is where she found this beautiful wetsuit … but she keeps coming back to Bondi, “it’s a cruel mistress, it keeps sucking me back in!”
