One Wave Furo Friday
We finally managed to get down to the beach in time to see a One Wave Fluro Friday session in action. (By the time we get down there most Fridays, they have done their thing and gone up to Birichina for a coffee before dispersing for the day.)
Like RUOK yesterday, One Wave is a non-profit mental health initiative, this one born of the surfing community. ‘One Wave is all it takes’ is their motto.
This morning they were being presented with a cheque for money raised by Dutiful Daughters, an organisation that helps you care for yourself and others in need.
Hopefully a little of all this goodness has rubbed off on us.
